After the August storms we rode the Alpe Adria cycle path again from Pontebba to the state border. A month after the previous visit, not much progress has been made.
The vertical signage has been integrated and some ancillary works have been carried out. On the other hand, the rainfall has damaged some sections of the cycle path. Just above Pontebba there are clear signs of erosion of the embankment where the path runs. In other places there are significant accumulations of gravel on the road surface. Finally, the temporary bridge over the Fella near Malborghetto has been made impassable by the flood.
